Sydney is a registered nurse who works as a patient navigator at an outpatient cancer treatment center in Oklahoma. She has seven years of oncology experience. Through Sydney’s passion for oncology, she seeks to assist patients and their families navigate through the complex diagnosis of cancer and other intricate medical conditions with education and compassion. Her wide range of oncology experience includes infusion administration, acute care assessment, management of oncologic emergencies and therapeutic communication.

Sydney seeks her Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis on Adult Gerontology- Critical Care and expects to complete her D.N.P. education in spring 2025 at the University of Arkansas. She is thrilled to offer this course opportunity to provide education and research in palliative care, a growing need in oncology management.
